The Innovation Challenge is a competition reserved for students of the University of Applied Sciences and the University of Fribourg. A project can be submitted in one of the following areas: Financial Innovation, Social Innovation, Foodtech Innovation, Smart Living Innovation, Medical / Life Science Innovation.

This joint program is provided for free by SICHH and Haute Ecole de Gestion de Fribourg. it is intended for project managers who want to bring their technology projects to the market. Indeed, during 4 days of workshops, it supports early-stage technological research projects to develop and test their commercial potential.
Each project and project leader is accompanied by a team composed of experts from different fields, coaches, and students in the Master of Entrepreneurship program at HEG-Fribourg (HES-SO).

The course is mainly aimed at applying the knowledge acquired at the HEG while addressing specific themes in the creation of a new business: idea creation / minimum viable product / pitching / bootstrapping, etc. At the end of the course, students will have created a business model on a new idea as a group. You also have the opportunity to put forward ideas that you would like to realize after your studies. The groups are made up of students from the HEG and the HEIA.

As the main point of contact for young entrepreneurs in Switzerland, IFJ offers the most frequently used online services in Switzerland for company start-ups and changes to the commercial register. People interested in setting up a company, startups and established companies attend IFJ’s intensive courses and conferences with active networking.

Complementary to our (R)evolution program, The Student Venture Program provides tailored support for more “mature” projects, from refining the idea to business management, networking with strategic partners, finding financing, helping to build a team, and personalized follow-up and coaching.

The program aims to promote entrepreneurship and interdisciplinarity. Different teachers from each of the Fribourg universities and a representative of Fri Up supervise the program.
